Over the twenty years or so, there have been very few models that have never returned as a retro. Up until earlier this year, one of the most remembered Nike training shoes of all time, also fell into that category. The Air Trainer SC II was an elusive grail for collector’s of OG kicks, but this year it finally made its way back from the vault of past Nike sneakers, returning in a handful of colorways.

Today, the Nike Air Trainer SC II arrives in a new colorway, one that seems to always be popular, no matter what silhouette it’s placed on. The all black colorway has always allowed those who work jobs that require all black shoes, a way to still show their own personal style and love for sneakers. For the Air Trainer SC II it is mixed up ever-so-slightly with Metallic Hematite accents, but remains a simple tonal and, for the most part, work safe colorway.
