After seeing the Air Trainer SC II, now another iconic shoe from Nike Training is making its return this spring as part of the “Uniform of Summer” releases. The Nike Air Trainer Max 2 from 1994 hasn’t been released as a Retro model for a almost five years now, and well, the last time with the Radiant Green and Bright Pink accents, the colorways weren’t exactly everyone’s taste.

This summer the Nike Air Trainer Max 2 ’94 will return in a handful of colorways, and thankfully, they’re all on par with the launch colorway you see here. Of course, the combination of white, black and varsity red is timeless and work well when placed on a shoe that stirs of memories of the mid-’90s when players like Charles Barkley and Chris Webber were carrying the Nike name into the “Uptempo” era that came from designs like the Air Trainer Max 2 ’94 that you see here.
