One of the most charismatic and accomplished baseball players of all time and future Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. is also a sneaker icon. Throughout the year, his old signature Nike Training shoes have been some of the hottest products on the market. Carrying on Griffey’s footwear legacy is the Nike Air Max Jr., a hybrid of sorts that updates the original Air Griffey Max with Torch technology on the upper and a 360-Max Air cushioned sole.
This fresh, new colorway of the Air Max Jr. pairs a grey-based nubuck and breathable Torch-constructed upper with eye-catching Blue Glow accents on the tongue, inner lining and heel-pull. White works a Swoosh on the toebox, the Torch underlay and trim along the fabric lace loops. The midsole, which is done in grey, is finished off with a blue 360-Max Air unit and outsole.
