We’ve shown you a number of different sneaker styles from the Air Attack Pack, but there is also much more to Nike’s Air Attack Collection than just sneakers. A number of t-shirts have also been created to go along with the Air Max 1, Air Max 24/7, and Air Max+ 2009, among other sneakers.
The design that stands out most in the group of tees is a design that pays tribute to Steve Prefontaine. If you’re a runner you’ve probably heard the story of Prefontaine, who is often credited for inspiring the huge growth in the popularity of running. Steve was a talented runner at the University of Oregon, who was coached by Bill Bowerman, co-founder of Nike. Prefontaine passed away in a tragic car accident in 1975, yet his name and accomplishments in his short career as an Oregon Duck still inspire many runners today. An image of Prefontaine has been placed on a heather grey t-shirt as part of the Air Attack Collection.
Another creative tee features a robot that has been created in Transformer-like fashion by using sections of the shoes that are a part of the Air Attack Pack. Other designs include the “NIKE” and “AIR” logos that were created for the collection and are featured on the sneakers in the collection, and a pair of pixelated designs. One of which features the classic Nike Air logo in a colorful pixelated design, and the other features the same style, but utilizes the company’s unforgettable “Just Do It.” slogan.
