If at first you don’t succeed…
words // Brandon Richard
After a tough Week 1 outing where he received most of the blame for squandering a fourth quarter lead to the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo bounced back in a big way against the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday. Romo was knocked out of the game early with what was initially diagnosed as a fractured rib. Laboring to get back on the field after halftime, Romo made the decision to do so late in the third quarter. In the fourth, he led two Dallas scoring drives to tie the game at 24, including a 25-yard strike to wide receiver Miles Austin. In overtime, Romo hit Jesse Holley with a 77-yard pass to put the Cowboys in field goal range, where Dan Bailey kicked the game-winner from 19 yards out.
By the way, that fractured rib diagnosis was correct. However, the punctured lung Romo played with wasn’t found out about until after the game.
In other late-Sunday action, Tom Brady passed for another 423 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Patriots moved to 2-0 on the year with a win over the San Diego Chargers. Also, Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons spoiled Michael Vick’s return to Atlanta by knocking the speedy quarterback out of the game and then pulling out a 35-31 victory behind another brilliant performance in the career of tight end Tony Gonzalez.

…ROMOs window of opportunity is slowly closing in DALLAS.He is going to have to lead a deep play-off run to restore his identity.
Romo would be ok if he had a more experienced offensive line!!!!!!!! what they expect with a rookie offensive line????
wow, i love Tony Romo! Unlike many who think he sucks.I actually wish that he has the best season of his career yet. This goes for Dwight Freeny and the rest of the cowboys aswell.
