Aaron Rodgers runs for a touchdown in the Nike Zoom Alpha Talon.

How do you follow being named the MVP of your first Super Bowl? Try adding NFL league MVP to your resume. There are still plenty of weeks to play, but Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has to be near the top of the list of possible MVP candidates. Guiding the Pack to a dominant 49-23 victory over the Denver Broncos this past Sunday, Rodgers had one of the true signature performances of his still very young career.
Out of Green Bay’s six offensive touchdowns, Rodgers had a hand in all of them. Connecting on 29 of his 38 passes for a regular season career high 408 yards, Aaron threw four touchdown strikes and also ran for two himself. Charles Woodson returned an interception for a touchdown to round out the seven scores and help keep the Packers undefeated on the year, joining the rival Detroit Lions.
In other late action, the New England Patriots got back on track with a big win in Oakland; the Baltimore Ravens doubled-up the New York Jets in a pivotal AFC match-up; a 21-point fourth quarter helped the New York Giants keep pace in the NFC East after their win against the Arizona Cardinals and another tough effort from the shorthanded Indianapolis Colts fell short as they dropped a close one to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday.
