When it comes to casual sneakers, New Balance has a number of popular designs but none is more versatile, or more of a fan favorite than the 574. The New Balance 574 has been reworked countless times in new colorways, and more often than not the iconic grey that has become synonymous with New Balance is the go to choice for fans of the Massachusetts based company.
This summer, however, New Balance has taken a new approach to the 574 with some familiar colorways. Although the colorways may strike a chord with some, it’s the details that separate this summer collection. Rather than the standard “N” logo applied to the lateral side uses an embroidered version for some extra pop. The top lace hole is also features embroidered details to match the New Balance logo. A chrome label is applied to the tongue, replacing the traditional stitched on version. Support and cushioning are aided by New Balance’s Encap technology which is fitted from the heel to the midfoot area.
