Simplistic and minimalist running shoes are by far one of the most popular current designs. The natural approach to running is one that many have taken on, but, these lightweight designs have also become everyday shoes for many people as well, thanks to their comfort and feather-like weight.
New Balance recently released the new 1400, a minimalist racing flat that features a REVlite midsole and a no-sew upper made up of breathable mesh for soft step-in comfort. The New Balance 1400 weighs in at just a touch over 7 ounces so it’s prepared to be your best friend through a 5K, and also when you’re just looking to relax. The REVlite cushioning, which may be familiar from the New Balance 890, is responsive and comfortable, which means it’s there for you whether you’re pounding the pavement or relaxing at the poolside. The first colorway of the 1400 comes in a primarily blue upper, with structural overlays and accents in orange, and it is available now.
