After a weekend loaded with college basketball around the country, the NCAA Tournament is finally set. With the field expanded to 68 teams this year, you would expect that the selection committee would be able to appease more teams and fans, but a few schools that were easily deserving of a place amongst the 68 teams were left stunned. Colorado, St. Mary’s and Virginia Tech (who beat one of the top seeds, Duke, just a few weeks ago) all got the cold shoulder in this year’s tournament.
The four number one seeds in the 2011 NCAA Tournament are Ohio State, Kansas, Pittsburgh and Duke. Other teams that grabbed tournament bids with Conference Tournament victories this weekend include San Diego State, UCONN, Kentucky, Washington and many more.
