After earning big victories in grand fashion for the first three weeks of the season, the LSU Tigers are finally at the top of the Associated Press’ Top 25 Poll. Helping push them over the top to overtake Oklahoma and the No. 1 spot, the Tigers were able to demolish the West Virginia Mountaineers 47-21. LSU received 42 first place votes out of the possible 60, holding the top spot in front of Oklahoma, Alabama, Boise State and Oklahoma State.

The LSU Tigers were led by another solid performance from Jarrett Lee, who threw three touchdown passes to go along with another two touchdowns by running back Michael Ford. The tigers also puts some points up off two of the four turnovers they created, helping them earn the big double-digit victory over the Mountaineers of West Virginia.
