March may still be a few days away, but this weekend there was no shortage of madness amongst the top college basketball teams in the country. The top-ranked Duke Blue Devils were knocked off by unranked ACC rival Virginia Tech, who were led by Jeff Allen who scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.

BYU’s Jimmer Fredette led the way as the Cougars handed San Diego State just their second loss of the season. Fredette’s 25 points came thanks to 4-8 from behind the three-point line, and he also dished out nine assists.

More madness could be seen in Boulder, Colorado as the Buffaloes erased the 22-point lead their Big 12 rivals, the Texas Longhorns, had. Colorado’s comeback came in large part thanks to guard Alec Burks’s 33 points.
