Going in to the season, seemingly 99.9% of the discussion was centered around the Decision, and how the Miami Heat would change the balance of the League. (To be fair, Melo’s trade rumors got a fair amount of press as well.) What’s emerged as a bigger story, thus far, is the play of the League’s top point guards. My first two Players of the Week were Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul, and this week, to make it three in a row, goes to Deron Williams.
To be honest, a strong argument could have been made for each of those three players, each week. The Jazz’s string of come-from-behind victories, led by DWill, has been so impressive, it overshadows their loss on Monday to the Thunder. And even in that game, Williams went for 31 points and 11 assists.
Can the point guards keep it up?
Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse.
Elite PG, but the color of the shoes a bit dark… Can’t really see the different tier of colors…
Looks like he will have to get it rolling in the East! I can’t believe D-Will left the Jazz, I thought he might be the next long time utah hall of famer, but guess not.
