For a few seasons now, I’ve been telling anyone that will listen that I’d take Rondo over CP when it comes to point guards. Rondo’s defense and rebounding would more than make up for his mediocre shooting If I were putting a team together. I even picked Rondo as my player of the week for the opening week of the season. I haven’t changed my opinion, but this week, I have to give credit where it’s due.
Chris Paul has been playing phenomenally, and is the key reason the Hornets are off to a 7-0 start. It’s even more impressive when you take into account that the Heat were one of the teams they put away last week. Teams with great point guards, i.e. CP, seem to be able to exploit the Heat’s weaknesses. I think the Hornets are overachieving right now, and are far from being a legitimate contender, but it’s no fault of CP’s.

Dwight Howard.
Biased.
Hate to say it but CP is tough.
It should be Deron Williams, he did everything CP did, but better, plus an extra big win. Orlando.
^that would fall into this week though.
That’s the difficulty with time-zone’s 😆
