There always seems to be unique player exclusives showing up throughout the season in every sport. However, it’s not often that you see basketball shoes show up on the baseball diamond. Sure, there are plenty of players that get their hands on player exclusive colorways, and the small amount that get a Jordan signature made into a player exclusive for football or baseball, but Ronny Cedeno’s Zoom Kobe V falls into its own separate category.
The Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop had on a pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe V in a colorway that perfectly matched the Black and Yellow of his uniform. On the ankle of the Zoom Kobe V is his jersey number 5, in the same way you can add your own through the Nike iD program. However, the cleated version adds a unique twist that can only come straight from The Swoosh.
