Wednesday, the Phillies took the field behind Roy Oswalt on the mound. Oswalt combined with Ryan Madson and Brad Lidge to allow just one hit against the Atlanta Braves, giving Philadelphia their 10th straight victory. It’s hard to argue that the Phillies are the hottest team in baseball right now, as their pitching has been nearly un-hittable. Earlier this week, Roy Halladay grabbed his 20th victory of the season, and Cole Hammels added his 12th win of the season as well. With the team rolling on all cylinders into the post-season, and the recent three-game sweep of one of the other top teams in the National League, the Atlanta Braves, it only seemed right to feature a few of their stars in this week’s MLB Watch.
Other highlights from this week include Troy Tulowitzki’s Player Exclusive Nikes in a nice Colorado Rockies colorway, and Vladimir Guerrero’s adidas Diamond King.
