In 2008, the Jordan Brand introduced the 6 Rings, a hybrid sneaker thats pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s six NBA championships. The shoe takes elements from Air Jordans 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 14 — the models worn by MJ when the Bulls three-peated twice from 1991-1993 and 1996-1998.
One of the most popular hybrid Jordan shoes of all-time, the 6 Rings recently made its return and will next release in the original ‘Bred’ colorway. Pictured here, the shoe sports a black cordura and patent leather upper with subtle red and white accents. Below sits a white midsole and predominantly red rubber outsole.
Look for the ‘Bred’ 6 Rings to drop here for $160 this Saturday, November 30 at 8:00 a.m. EST / 7:00 a.m. CST. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.
