The Nike Air Max Wavy at first glance feels like a combination of the Garnett and Penny sneaker lines. After a closer look, that really is what you see, although the Air Max Wavy comes in at a price point more on par with a Kevin Durant sneaker. At $80 with Air Max cushioning in the heel and a Foamposite looking upper, the Air Max Wavy could easily be priced in the triple digits.
The Air Max Wavy features a breathable mesh tongue and the quick lace system that found fame from the Air Max Penny Hardaway line. A soft Achilles heel has been added to avoid that uncomfortable rubbing that can sometimes come from leather high top basketball shoes. To give the Air Max Wavy some extra traction when you’re cutting through the lane or crossing up your defender, Nike has added a pair of outriggers on the outsole, and to give them a little extra style they’ve been done up in the shape of a basketball.

nike just keeps on milking the penny line. its terrible
I thought I was going to hate this but I don’t. Not in the league of the half cent but still good.
White/Black/Red look okay but I don’t like these Wavy’s, they shoulda just stuck to dropping these colors in the Penny 3…
why do the tip of these seem bent? they are pretty cheap though I think like $80 retail.
nvm lol they said that about the $80… lol bargain sneaker imo. Might grab the eggplant color if they go onsale.
