New York Yankee superstar Derek Jeter has had a career full of unforgettable highlights, and the inspiration for the latest sneaker in his signature line comes from the shoes he was wearing during some of those memorable and miraculous plays. After last season’s World Series Championship, the fifth for Jeter, it only seems appropriate to commemorate the ten time all-star.
With a list of baseball cleats and turf shoes that easily rivals the signature lines of the greatest athletes in other sports, the Jeter Throwback continues with Jeter specific detailing such as the “DJ2” home plate logo on the tongue. On the heel, a baseball logo is placed, again with Derek’s number 2 placed inside. Also included are elements from the Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 9, and Air Jordan 11, all styles that made the transition from the hardwood to the baseball diamond in exclusive colorways specially made for Jeter. All in all, nine shoes from Jeter’s footwear career are used to create the appropriately named Jordan Jeter Throwback.

I like how Jordan has gotten more subtle in they’re design “inspirations” creating a real design, instead of some of the mashes we seen in previous years.
These look great, and functional, with some really nice details.
These look quite well,I like the materials they used.
And what I also like is big amount of small details.
I’ve always liked the way the way JB has handled the Jeter line, and this just looks like another great installment to the line.
