Li-Ning is making its first major moves into the American basketball footwear market with Baron Davis’ name and imagery attached. The BD Doom is set to launch in the coming weeks in three colorways here at Eastbay. One release will be this blue and black color combination, which has been accented with red laces and 3M highlights. A mix of shiny snakeskin-like synthetic and genuine leather balance out nicely with the #M dot weld design on the upper.
Li-Ning’s Bounce technology rests in the heel and forefoot of the shoe in order to make it as responsive and cushioned as can be. The Baron Davis Beardman logo gives these sneakers some attitude to go on top of the dynamic lacing system that is making sure they stay in place. The herringbone traction and rubber outsole seem to crawl up the sides of the shoe, however, in order to keep your feet as low as possible, your heel sits low to the ground, which makes for a stable and reactive design.

I buy American! Get these outta here!
😆 I don’t believe there’s any basketball sneaker made in the US anymore….. 🙂
LOL@McMurray223. “I buy American! Get these outta here!” sounds like something George W. Bush would say. U guys must have the same IQ cause nothing is made in American anymore homeboy!!!!
i got em feels nice and they look great to ! people always ask WTF are they lol i like that there different.
I rock the Baron Davis Doom – Home Shoes in white/red that I got from the Li-Ning USA site a while back.
The Blue Snakeskins are tight – if you got enough style to floss em – I say go for it!
The new ones at Eastbay are even more sick cuz they feature the new Li-Ning logo – a much more stylized logo IMHO.
