If you’re into trail running, then you’ve probably heard of the company Icebug. If not, then consider this your introduction.
Icebug originated in 2001 and the Sweden based company has developed a dedicated following thanks to their innovative designs. The company’s inception came from what they saw as a choice between actively pursuing the outdoor life safely with trust in the traction your feet experience, or not experiencing it at all. With those choices, it’s easy to see why they created the Icebug brand, and why many have decided to give the grippy trail shoes a try. With technologies like BUGrip to offer up traction, and BUGdri to keep moisture out, Icebug shoes are suitable for any terrain you can find.
In the coming weeks Eastbay will be carrying a handful of the Icebug models such as The Navigator, seen below in both yellow and red colorways and the Celeritas, a more aggressive soled off trail shoe, seen below in a black, grey and yellow colorway. Another style, the Heros model in both teal and black versions that can be seen below, will soon be available in both men’s and women’s styles as well.
Look for them soon at Eastbay.
Very cool looks, and those last ones look like they could take snow too. 8)
Haha, it says “Ice, Ice Baby” on the bottoms of the last shoe…
That’s funny! I didn’t notice that at first.
