Last week we took a look at Greg Jennings’ Top 10 College Performances, and since the Packers open their season against the Eagles on Sunday, it’s only fitting to take a look at Greg’s top 10 games in the NFL.

Honorable Mention: November 4, 2007 vs. Kansas City Chiefs: 3 catches, 85 yards, 2 TD
In a 33-22 Win over the Chiefs in Week 9, Jennings grabbed three balls, two that went for touchdowns. He had a 13-yarder in the third quarter and a strike from 60 to take the lead with 3:05 left in the game.
10. December 9, 2007 vs. Oakland Raiders: 2 catches, 100 yards, 1 TD
In Week 14 of the 2007 season at Lambeau Field against the Raiders, Jennings caught just two balls, but they went for 100 yards, one of which was an 80-yard touchdown from Brett Favre in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
9. September 24, 2006 vs. Detroit Lions: 3 catches, 101 yards, 1 TD
Consider this Greg Jennings’ breakout performance in the NFL. After having a pretty good game in a loss to the Saints where he grabbed six balls for 67 yards and a score, GJ caught three balls, including a 75-yard TD in the first quarter of what would be his first win pro football.
8. September 13, 2009 vs. Chicago Bears: 6 catches, 106 yards, 1 TD
Trailing 15-13 to the Bears late in the fourth quarter of Week 1 last year, Jennings hauled a 50-yard game-winning score with 1:09 left in the game. He also caught the two-point conversion. Greg finished the game with six catches for 106 yards.
7. December 27, 2009 vs. Seattle Seahawks: 4 catches, 111 yards
In Week 16 of last year Jennings caught four balls for 111 yards for an average of nearly 28 yards per catch. The Pack thumped the Seahawks 48-10 as they were gearing up for the Playoffs.
6. September 21, 2008 vs. Dallas Cowboys: 8 catches, 115 yards
In a Week 3 loss to the Cowboys, Jennings had a season high eight catches for 115 yards.
5. September 28, 2008 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 6 catches, 109 yards, 2 TD
In Week 4 against Tampa Bay Jennings had six grabs for 109 yards and two scores, one a 25 yarder in the first quarter and the other a 48-yard snag in the third quarter. The Pack got beat by the Bucs, but this goes down as one of Jennings’ best career performances.
4. December 20, 2009 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: 5 catches, 118 yards, 1 TD
Last year in Week 15 against the Steelers, Jennings had five catches for 118 yards, including an 83-yards first-quarter touchdown strike from Rodgers. The Pack lost 37-36 on a last-second touchdown, otherwise they would have ended the year winning their last eight games.
3. November 22, 2009 vs. San Francisco 49ers: 5 catches, 126 yards, 1 TD
Greg had a big game in Week 11 against the 49ers last year on November 22. He snagged five balls for 126 yards, reaching paydirt once on a 64-yard bomb from Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter. His other grabs were 37, 11, nine and five yards. The Pack won the game 30-24.
2. September 14, 2008 vs. Detroit Lions: 6 catches, 167 yards
In a 2008 Week 2 win over the Lions Jennings caught six balls for 167 yards from QB Aaron Rodgers, including two bombs that went for 60 and 62 yards. The Pack won 48-25, and Jennings had more yards than the other Six Packer WR combined.
1. October 29, 2007 vs. Denver Broncos: 6 catches, 141 yards, 1 TD
In Jennings’ top game as a Packer, he caught six balls for 141 yards, including passes of 12, 18 and 20 yards to go with his 82-yard game-winning TD catch from Brett Favre to give the Packers a 19-13 win. That long touchdown catch is Greg’s favorite memory as a Packer.
Jennings is looking to have a huge season for the Packers, who are picked by some experts to win the Super Bowl. Keep an eye on Greg as the Pack faces the Kevin Kolb-led Eagles on Sunday.
