Nike basketball shoes are constantly evolving. Every year, something new comes along, or a previous model is improved upon. This year, the latter is the case, with the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 being one of the most talked about sneakers of the summer. Although technology may improve, or basketball shoes may get lighter in weight, some aspects of design will always grab attention in ways that are unexplainable.
This week’s Eastbay Photo of the Week shows off one of the most impressive, but most often overlooked elements of sneakers, the textures. The photo below of the Hyperfuse 2011 shows off just how much variation there is in the textures and materials used in the latest design. Nearly a dozen different textures are used to create a landscape that is quite impressive despite minimal color usage. From the Zoom Air cushioning all the way up through the Hyperfuse upper, the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 is much more than you can see from a distance.
