One of the most difficult things to do for footwear makers is to combine the heritage of a brand with a new and current style that will fit today’s fashion trends. One of the best in the business at doing this in the past few years has been adidas Originals. There have been countless new styles from adidas Originals that have just the right mix of classic Trefoil heritage, and enough design features to keep them current. Along with classic styles like the adidas Superstar, new styles like the Fortitude, Roundhouse and adi-Rise have shown renewed energy from adidas Originals.
This summer, adidas Originals will rework one of the most popular models, the adi-Rise, which will receive the “2.0” treatment. The adi-Rise 2.0 steps up from the original with premium materials that will include patent finishes and soft suede. The popular midfoot strap remains a key feature, but the traditional Three Stripes have been changed to a more discernible stitchless finish. The sophisticated look is complimented with a breathable mesh tongue to keep things cool.
Look for these to arrive at Eastbay this summer in a number of colorways.
