Last week’s Eastbay Memory Lane gave you a look at Patrick Ewing’s kicks from the ’90s. This week we stay in ’93 and we’ll check out the Spring Sports catalog.
The cover is simple. It features a basketball player, baseball player, soccer player and track & field athlete as cartoons.
On page 33 of this particular catalog featured a bunch of different colors of Cons. It also has an old school pair of Laker and Bulls shoes. Converse produced them at the time and they had to be one of the first NBA branded pairs they made.
Page 84 shows some really unique hats from the days when Starter ruled the sports world!
We cant really order these can we? haha. I forgot how nice the 90s styles shoes looked.
Page 33 8) , all that REACT JUICE *drool* , please retro some of these Converse(especially the AeroJets), even if it’s without the JUICE.
Oh man, those Grandmamas just look sick, makes me wanna rock a Charlotte Hornets Starter jacket lol. Those hats dont look bad either.
Haha. The caption reads, “And if Larry Johnson’s Grandmama can wear them for her power game, why can’t you?” Brilliant and oh so strange at the same time. It’s also funny how Hats got a full page back then.
