Throughout his NBA career, Allen Iverson and Reebok brought to life some of the most iconic Reebok basketball shoes of the late ’90s and early 2000’s.
One of the most popular was the Answer IV, recognized by many as the shoes worn by Allen Iverson for his first and last NBA Finals appearance in 2001. Winning his first career NBA MVP award during the 2000-2001 NBA season, the Answer IV will always be remembered as one of the shoes that put Iverson and his Reebok signature line on the map.
Released in a variety of colorways, the Answer IV was available in both a low-cut and mid-cut from Eastbay. Most popular was the Black/Silver-Red and the Red/Silver-White colorways, worn several times throughout the 2000-2001 season by Iverson.
Almost 12 years since their historic release, fans of the Iverson signature line have been eagerly awaiting a retro release of the Answer IV. Will a return to the NBA by Iverson push Reebok to revive the classic Iverson signature collection?
Enjoy a look back at the classic Reebok Answer IV as part of Eastbay’s latest trip down memory lane.
