March Madness is upon us and today we look back ten years to a 2002 Eastbay page at the many NCAA Mens Basketball uniforms from both Nike and adidas.

In the past ten years, some of the uniform designs have changed quite a bit, while others have stayed almost the same.  Some teams have changed sponsors, such as Georgetown is now with Jordan Brand, Michigan is now with adidas, and Maryland is now with Under Armour.  2002 was also a time before we ever saw innovations in design like the Nike Elite Platinum uniforms.

What hasn’t changed are the top schools in college basketball.  Pretty much all the teams you see here are still playing almost every year  in March by the time the tournament rolls around.  You can see perennial top seeds like this year’s #1 seeds North Carolina, Michigan State, Syracuse, and Kentucky all represented on this page.  In 2002, it was the Maryland Terrapins who won the tournament, beating the Indiana Hoosiers in the championship game.  Who will it be this year?
