Derrick Rose continued his MVP campaign trail on Tuesday night against the Washington Wizards. The Chicago Bulls guard dropped 23 points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out seven assists and came up with two steals in the 98-79 victory. The win moves the Bulls into the top spot in the Eastern Conference, a game ahead of the Boston Celtics.
Ironically, it was Rose and the Bulls who wore the green on Tuesday for St. Patrick’s Day. Derrick unveiled his adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 St. Patrick’s Day colorway in the win. The SPRINTSKIN mesh paneling must be working in the weight reduction department, as Rose has seemed to get quicker as the season has progressed, despite having to carry the Bulls while Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah sat out with injuries. For a little luck of the Irish, the tongue and insole are adorned with four-leaf clover graphics. The St. Patrick’s Day-inspired green and white colorway of the adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 is now available in limited quantities.
