As part of their EVO performance line, the people at Converse have released the new Sicks basketball sneaker this year. First seen at this past summer’s Nike World Basketball Festival, the shoe attempts to blur the line between professional and pick-up basketball. Made to promote independent style, this pair of the Sicks sports a black on black upper and translucent rubber panels that reveal the use of Converse Balls cushioning technology. The shoe also features an adjusted Y-bar for ankle support, perforated leather to enhance breathability, and an outsole tread design that improves on-court traction. You can add the Sicks to your hoops rotation today by picking up a pair here at Eastbay.
Available: Converse Sicks – Black/Black-Silver
looks like this shoe is tryna blur the line between converse and nike (i know converse is a part of nike)…cmon converse do what you do best and keep it original
They look a bit like the LBJ VIII’s, but they’re still sick in my eyes. A very solid shoe!
Haha a step up from boring I guess. A hyundai trying to be a porshe
Stop it with the EVO, bring back REACT!!!
Strange. Is this a coincidence that they almost look the same http://blog.eastbay.com/shoes/all/nike-air-max-lebron-8-blackout/
you are right, they are both black shoes with visible technology… other than that, no similarities at all! Open your eyes kid, look at the lines of the shoes. First off, the LBJ has no toe cap, and a much more futuristic feel, though it also looks bulkier. The Cons shoe is much more retro, lots of heritage cues from old Converse shoes from the 80’s like the Starion, Weapon, and the old ERX series…
