Chicago Bears Linebacker and Special Teamer Tim Shaw will put on a football camp for kids on June 26th from 1-5pm. The camp is FREE and will take place in Livonia, MI at Clarenceville HS Football Field. It is an opportunity for grades 4-12 to improve their athletic skills. The first 100 registrations will be accepted. It is a non-contact camp that will feature current NFL and college players assisting with football specific drills. The camp will provide a positive environment to help inspire kids to reach their goals. There will be a sports trainer on site during Shaw’s camp. Eastbay is a proud sponsor of this camp.

Tim Shaw was born in Exeter, England. He and his family moved to the US when he was a kid. Shaw was the Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year in 2001 at Clarenceville High School in Livonia. He finished his high school career as the all-time leader in rushing yards with 7,611 and touchdowns with 131 which have since been broken. After high school Shaw played college ball at Penn State University for legendary Coach Joe Paterno. After a versatile career playing tailback, linebacker, special teams and defensive end, he was selected with a 5th round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2007 draft. He played with the Panthers for a year, the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2008 and the Chicago Bears last year.
