Back in the early nineties, two-sport star Deion Sanders used his incredible speed and athleticism to become one of the most loved (and hated) players of all time on both the baseball diamond and the football field. Deion’s flashy play filled the highlight reels with unbelievable kick returns and interceptions as a football player, and amazing catches and stolen bases as a baseball player. “Primetime” needed a shoe that could handle the rigors of both sports, and Nike Training came up with the appropriately named Air Diamond Turf. The Nike Air Diamond Turf has returned in retro form, and since Deion is no longer wearing the number 21 or 24 on the field, the Diamond Turf is also sporting a slightly new look with the year 2010 on the tongue.
