The doom and gloom era of Cleveland Cavaliers basketball after the departure of LeBron James didn’t last long. With the first overall pick in last June’s NBA Draft, the Cavs selected Duke guard Kyrie Irving and hoped that he would be the guy to steer the ship back in the right direction. Record wise, Cleveland still has a lot of work to do; however, the franchise has found their point guard of the future and possible franchise player in Irving. After posting 18.5 points, 5.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game, Kyrie was almost a unanimous choice for the NBA’s Rookie of the Year Award.
In celebration of Irving’s achievement, adidas has released this special Rookie of the Year edition of their NBA Award T-Shirts. The shirt features a navy blue cotton build with screenprinted graphics of Kyrie and the logos for the Cavs and adidas on the front.
