Though we’re still about four months away from football season, teams beginning their offseason workouts this week has us all back in the mood for some gridiron action. If you’re looking for a new pair of cleats to help you dig into the grass during the upcoming season, adidas has just released the adiZero Smoke Mid. The Smoke Mid features a molded double-layer SPRINTSKIN synthetic upper and internal welded TPU for additional support and acceleration. A reinforced toe box provides protection when toes are stepped on. On the interior, the non-slip lining enhances the fit and a molded PU sockliner gives long-lasting comfort. SPRINTFRAME outsole construction uses geometry to offer the perfect balance between light weight and stability. The heel cup locks the foot in place, preventing the heel from slipping during games. TraXion stud shape provides maximum acceleration and multidirectional traction on synthetic and natural surfaces.
The first available colorway of the adiZero Smoke Mid is all-purpose, decked out primarily in black with metallic silver and white toward the heel. White also handles adidas branding on the tongue, while silver textile lines the interior.
