With the possibility of no NBA season still haunting us, and pre-season football getting underway, sports fans have been focusing more on football lately, even Kevin Durant. Durant’s off season has been an opportunity for the NBA’s scoring leader to get in workouts in other ways, including some amateur league action in some of our recent Sneaker Watch coverage.
It seems each time we’ve seen KD in the off season, he’s been sporting a special makeup of his third signature shoe, the Nike Zoom KD III “Redskins” colorway. Based off the team colors of Durant’s favorite NFL team, the Washington Redskins, the Team Red/White/Del Sol colors sit a top a gum-colored outsole, a rarity amongst basketball shoes these days.
