There are always collaborations when it comes to sneakers. Sometimes, however, the inspiration and purpose behind them is for a bigger and better cause than others. With the continued partnership between the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and Nike Basketball is one that aims to help awareness for the ongoing fight against cancer that many people are familiar with, whether from their own experience or that of a loved one.
This year the Nike Air Max Soldier V and the Nike Hyperdunk 2011 are the two silhouettes that get the pink treatment. The combination of pink and white was seen in our Sneaker Watch coverage last week, as players showed their support for the fight against breast cancer. Two of the shoes highlighting the WNBA footwear were the Air Max Soldier V and the Nike Hyperdunk 2011 and they appear as this week’s wallpaper.
