Eastbay Memory Lane: NFL Fan Gear Circa 2000

words // Zack Schlemmer

The 2012 NFL season is now in full force so today we’ll go back to the year 2000 for a look at some now-vintage NFL jerseys and other fan gear.  Nike just took over outfitting the NFL, but back in 2000 it was PUMA supplying the jerseys for your favorite NFL teams and players.  On this page we see jersey gems like Arizona Cardinals-Simeon Rice, Seattle Seahawks-Jon Kitna, Washington Redskins-Deion Sanders, New Orleans Saints-Ricky Williams and many more.  Elsewhere we see some extremely outdated team leather jackets…a style that will hopefully never come back.

Which throwback jerseys seen here would you rock?
