Your Hyperdunk Headquarters

Hyperdunk Update

The Nike Hyperdunk debuted in 2008, kicking off what would become an iconic line of basketball shoes. Equipped with Nike Flywire and Lunar cushioning, the first-ever Hyperdunk was considered ahead of its time. Now, nine years later, the Hyperdunk line continues to make advancements.

The addition of Nike React cushioning makes this the most innovative iteration in the shoe’s history. The Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 is better than ever, and Eastbay has all your Hyperdunk needs covered with a huge selection and exclusive colors you won’t find anywhere else.

Nike React

The Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 is one of the first shoes to feature Nike’s revolutionary React cushioning technology. Nike’s innovation teams worked with cushioning experts and chemical engineers to develop a foam that’s lightweight, resilient, and durable – all at the same time.

“Definitely the React technology is something that really jumps out at you,” Blake Griffin said.

After more than 2,000 hours of basketball testing, Nike React has proven to remain soft and springy as well as squishy and stable. It delivers more energy return than any other Nike basketball foam and is the most durable cushioning used by Nike basketball to date.

The foam reacts to each step, cushioning against impact and then bouncing back to its original state, continuously ensuring a consistent feel for your feet all game, every game. Learn more about Nike React here.

The Flyknit, The Mid, The Low

The Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 comes in three varieties, offering an ideal fit for every basketball player. The premium Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit comes in at $159.99 and utilizes a Flyknit construction for a locked-in, flexible, and supportive feel on the court.

If you’re looking for more traditional materials, the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 also comes in a non-Flyknit Mid and Low. The mid-top is $149.99 or $139.99 depending on specific styles, and the low-top is $139.99. There is also a limited version of the low-top for $139.99 that’s equipped with a casual-inspired upper for off-court style.
