The FAB 48 Is Here

One of the nation’s premier basketball events has tipped off. The top high school basketball players, and nearly every college basketball coach in the country, are in Las Vegas for this year’s Fab 48, presented by Eastbay.

The best face off against the best in this massive tournament that features over 800 teams. Past participants include some of the game’s stars like Markelle Fultz, Josh Jackson, Jabari Parker, Thon Maker, Kyle Anderson, Stanley Johnson, and Emmanuel Mudiay. Sixteen Fab 48 Alumni were selected in this year’s NBA Draft, proving that the Fab 48 continues to attract top talent.

This year’s roster of up-and-coming talent is just as stacked. Fab 48 Co-Director Gary Charles said so many top high school players are coming that he can’t even name them all.

“If I start naming names, then I’ve got to keep going because I don’t want to leave someone out. There are so many big names coming to town,” Charles said.

There won’t only be big names on the court – celebrities and pro athletes also flock to Vegas to watch the Fab 48. Guys like James Harden, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Deion Sanders have all attended the Fab 48.

It’s more than just a bunch of basketball games. It’s an atmosphere. It’s great basketball, a great atmosphere, and a lot of fun.

As if the nation’s best players, hundreds of college coaches, and countless celebrities aren’t enough, the Fab 48 will also bring in a DJ and a dance group for even more entertainment.
