10.18 AJ 32 Release Report

On Oct. 18, 1984, Michael Jordan stepped onto the court in black and red AJ 1’s. The bold sneakers were deemed a violation of league policy, but MJ wore them anyway and Nike happily paid the $5,000 per game fine. It was a move that revolutionized the way we look at, and wear, basketball shoes. Jordan has now named Oct. 18 ‘MJ Day’ in honor of His Airness’ seismic impact in the world of hoops and culture. For the inaugural year, Jordan is dropping that famous black-and-red colorway in their latest signature model, the AJ XXXII’s. The new kid on the block pays homage to the OG, the next gen takes us back to where it all began. AJ XXXII Mid Men’s $184.99. AJ XXXII Mid Boys’ Grade School $139.99. AJXXXII Low Men’s $159.99.

10.18 Foamposite

Make your look the gold standard this season with these new Nike Air Foamposite Pros. With a foam upper, and swoosh, coated in Metallic Gold, these kicks can take your swagger to a whole new class. Black accents on the tongue, eyelets, and outsole complement the flashy main and ensure that, while you’ll be sure to stand out, you’ll also be sure to stay in style. Men’s $229.99. Boys’ Grade School $179.99.

10.18 Nike

After what felt like forever, basketball season is finally back. And, as superstars like Kevin Durant and Paul George step back into the spotlight, you can bet they’ll be doing so in the freshest colorways of their signature shoes. The KD X’s are getting a sick Dark Grey and Reflective Silver update while the PG 1’s are releasing in Anthracite and Gum. Perfect for repping your favorite player, perfect for showing off your own skills on the hardwood, and the perfect addition to any basketball fan’s collection. KD X Men’s $149.99. PG 1 Men’s $109.99. PG 1 Boys’ Grade School $89.99.

10.18 Dame 4 Story

You can’t talk about this new basketball season without mentioning Dame Lillard. You know the Portland superstar is going to leave his mark all year long and he’ll be rocking his brand new adidas Dame 4’s from opening tip to the playoffs. After releasing to rave reviews, the second colorway is finally here in a clean, all-white iteration with a gum rubber outsole. The look is inspired by Lillard’s already-rich legacy in the game and looks forward to the clutch guard’s limitless future. Men’s $114.99.
