Kevin Durant has quickly become one of the top players in the game. From his short time with the Texas Longhorns, to his recent dominance with Team USA Basketball’s gold medal at the FIBA Championships, he has made the most of his skills and quietly made the Nike line of Kevin Durant shoes one of the most popular out there right now. The KD2 was one of the best basketball shoes of last season, and easily offered some of the “best bang for the buck.”

For the upcoming season, Kevin Durant will take to the hardwood courts of the NBA in his third signature shoe, the Nike Zoom KD III. This combination of Black, White and Photo Blue will likely land at an NBA Arena near you when KD leads the Thunder into town. The KD III features a similar upper and midsole as the second version, with just enough changes in the details to make distinguishable. Most notable is the removal of the midfoot strap and the addition of Flywire. If the way Durant played in the KD2 last season is any precursor, then the KD III may just help him lead the Thunder deep into the playoffs this year.
