Though associated with a long list of classic sneakers, former Chicago Bulls forward Scottie Pippen didn’t receive his first signature model until 1997. For the Chicago Bulls’ run to a fifth NBA Championship, Nike Basketball laced Scottie in the Nike Air Pippen, highlighted by its synthetic build, wavy TPU overlays and wraparound 360-Air unit.
Back for another round this year, the Air Pippen will next release this weekend in an all-new “Camo” colorway. The shoe gets its nickname from the camouflage print that fills the TPU overlays along the side panels. Black and anthracite team up on the upper, inner lining and Phylon midsole, while Flash Lime provides pop on the tongue and heel logos, Swoosh branding and outsole.
Pippen fans can pick up a pair of these new Nike basketball shoes tomorrow here at Eastbay.
