There’s clutch — and then there’s Tom Brady. Whether you love or hate him, Brady has been the standard for big game performances since taking the New England Patriots’ starting quarterback job in 2001. With his back against the wall in Sunday’s pivotal matchup with the New Orleans Saints, Brady delivered again as only he can.

His team trailing 27-23 with 2:24 left to play the fourth quarter, Brady threw a lame duck pass that was intercepted by Keenan Lewis, seemingly sealing the deal on a Saints victory. However, after failing to secure a first down, the Saints were forced to punt and Brady got one more chance with 1:13 left.

With the help of some good ol’ fashioned prevent defense. Brady guided the Patriots down the field, setting up 1st-and-10 on New Orleans’ 17 with 11 seconds left to play. Taking the snap out of the shotgun, Brady found rookie Kenbrell Thompkins in the corner of the endzone for the game-winning touchdown, the latest in a legendary career.

Now 5-1, the Patriots will travel to New York on Sunday to take on the Jets.

Also in Week 6, the Green Bay Packers were hit hard with injures in a slim victory over the Baltimore Ravens; Kansas City eased past Oakland to remain undefeated; the Pittsburgh Steelers picked up their first win of the season against the New York Jets; Denver won a surprisingly competitive game against Jacksonville; the Dallas Cowboys topped the rival Washington Redskins 31-16; and the San Diego Chargers pulled off a shocking Monday night win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Take a look at the football cleats that were worn in these games and more in today’s NFL Watch.
