A week before Super Bowl XLVI, some of the NFL’s top players gathered in Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2012 Pro Bowl. With defense being played on an extremely limited basis, it was the AFC that emerged victorious this time around, besting their National Football Conference counterparts by a score of 59-41. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was named the game’s MVP with an impressive six-catch, 176-yard and four touchdown performance on the day. The Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald led the way for the NFC, racking up 111 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Andy Dalton, Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers each recorded two touchdown passes.
