A week before Super Bowl XLVI, some of the NFL’s top players gathered in Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2012 Pro Bowl. With defense being played on an extremely limited basis, it was the AFC that emerged victorious this time around, besting their National Football Conference counterparts by a score of 59-41. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was named the game’s MVP with an impressive six-catch, 176-yard and four touchdown performance on the day. The Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald led the way for the NFC, racking up 111 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Andy Dalton, Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers each recorded two touchdown passes.
In our world, the biggest news from the game was the footwear. Several brands used the star-studded affair to debut new cleats from next season’s collections. Take a look at some of the football cleats worn by the game’s top stars in today’s NFL Watch.
