Though described as 80-inspired by the Jordan Brand, the popular sitcom loosely represented by the latest run of vibrant Jordan styles actually aired in the 90s. That was a decade dominated by Michael Jordan, who won his six championships from 91-93 and 96-98. Celebrating Jordan’s championship legacy, the Jordan Brand launched the Six Rings shoe in 2008. The hybrid combines elements of the seven shoes Jordan wore en route to winning his six championship rings: Air Jordans 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 14. Starting this weekend and continuing throughout the rest of the year, the Six Rings is back for another round, first dropping in the ‘Bel-Air’ colorway pictured in detail here.
Court Purple handles the shoe’s base, with bright green, pink and blue taking care of accent work on the laces, tongue and heel details, contrast stitching and inner lining. The lacelocks, straps, heel and midsole are done in black, while white fills the ‘pods’ and toe bumper. A multicolor rubber outsole finishes off this unique style below.
You’ll be able to pick up these colorful Jordan shoes here this Saturday, October 19 at 8:00 a.m. EST for $180. Be sure to follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.
