One of the most popular Air Jordan shoes of all-time, the ‘Carmine’ 6 is set to make its long-awaited return tomorrow.
Originally released in 1991, the ‘Carmine’ Air Jordan 6 gets its nickname from the deep red hue present on its nubuck side panels and toebox. In fact, it was the first colorway of the model to feature colored panels. The color also accents the vamp, lacelock and heel tab, while a black midsole and blue-tinted translucent outsole cap off the look below.
The ‘Carmine’ 6 was one of the shoes Michael Jordan laced up in route to his first NBA championship during the 1990-1991 season. It last released as part of a Countdown Pack in 2008 and is now being retroed by itself for the first time.
These iconic Jordan shoes will hit Eastbay for $170 this Saturday, May 24 at 8:00 a.m. EST / 7:00 a.m. CST. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.
