Continuing to have fun with Derrick Rose’s third signature shoe, adidas Basketball jumps in the time machine and drops a “90s Throwback” colorway of the Rose 3.
The “90s” Rose 3 takes on some of the style and color cues of the popular TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a definitive staple of 90s fashion. Featured on the upper is loud fluorescent green nubuck with a unique wave pattern and blue contrast stitching. On the backsides of the tongues, block lettering and graffiti tags of “South Side” and “773″ represent Derrick’s Chicago neighborhood. The midsole is adorned by a green on yellow speckled pattern, while the insoles sport green and yellow horizontal stripes.
Not only does the “90s Throwback” Rose 3 feature a great look for casual wear, but the shoe is performance ready too. Weighing in below 13 ounces, the D Rose 3 features a lightweight synthetic upper with seamlessly bonded SprintWeb for breathable support. SprintFrame construction provides stability and speed to create a lightweight and supportive chassis. A flexible molded memory foam collar allows for an ankle wrap or brace. Below, a compression-molded EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning. The non-marking rubber outsole is helped by flex grooves in the forefoot for flexibility. Lastly, micoach compatibility allows athletes to track performance digitally through the use of a micoach SPEED_CELL.
These 90s-inspired adidas basketball shoes are available now here at Eastbay.
