During the offseason, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose takes his training regimen to southern California, the inspiration behind this ‘Boardwalk’ colorway of his adidas D Rose 4 signature shoe.

The shoe’s mint green base and tan and pink accents represent the ocean, sand and architectural details found on SoCal beaches.

“It’s important for me to work on my game every day during the off-season,” said Rose. “I chose southern California as my summer home because it’s a place where I can focus on training and getting ready for the season. I love this colorway of the shoe because it tells the other side of the story about where I spend my time.”

The performance basketball model comes equipped with a lightweight SprintWeb upper, GeoFit padded ankle, SprintFrame chassis for support a flexible rubber outsole and miCoach compatibility.

Pick up a pair of these new Derrick Rose shoes this Thursday, November 7 for $140. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all updates and information.
