Week 1 of the college football season is in the books, and with a huge win over number 10 Virginia Tech, we’ll give the inaugural Player of the Week award to Boise State QB Kellen Moore. Kellen completed 23 of 38 passes for 215 yards and three scores, including the 13-yard TD with 1:09 remaining, which turned out to be the game-winner. Number three Boise State looks to contend for a National Title this season with Moore at the helm.

Some of the other highlights from Week 1 include #21 LSU clipping #18 UNC 30-24, the #6 TCU Horned Frogs beating the 24th-ranked Oregon State Beavers 30-21, #14 USC winning a shootout with Hawaii, Utah upsetting #15 Pittsburgh 27-24, and the 11th-ranked Oregon Ducks thumping New Mexico 72-0.
