If you’re looking for a running shoe that offers a balance between being lightweight and supportive, the Under Armour Spine RPM Storm is the perfect choice for you. The Spine Storm was created when UA cored out the chassis to make the shoe lighter and more flexible without sacrificing support or responsiveness.
Featured is a ripstop, water-resistant upper with seamless structural support at the midfoot and forefoot. For wetter months, a Storm DWR finish provides breathable protection. An external TPU heel counter locks down the foot, while a full-length Micro G internal midsole offers an ultra-responsive lightweight ride. A Molded 4D Foam sockliner and collar lining conform to your foot during activity. Carbon rubber covers the heel impact zone and a solid rubber outsole gives full ground contact and traction without increasing weight.
According to Under Armour, the Spine Storm was the direct result on input from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn. When asked what elite athletes need in a running shoe, the two expressed the desire to have a shoe that could handle their toughest training days and allow them to train in any condition.
These lightweight Under Armour running shoes are now available in a wide variety of colorways for men, women and children.
