While some athletes opt for a speed-based cleat, others need a shoe built for trench warfare. For Under Armour, that cleat is the UA Fierce III Mid. What you get with this cleat is top of the line durability, but in a lightweight frame that still allows you to roam freely.
Featuring a comfortable synthetic build, the Fierce III employs a power cross-strap that locks the foot in place during performance. Below, a seven-stud translucent TPU plate enhances traction on natural surfaces. To reduce cleat pressure, the footbed is molded and conforms to the foot for optimal comfort. Also included is a Micro G midsole and 4D Foam sockliner.
This cleat sports a heavily-perforated black synthetic and textile upper with orange overlays used for the mudguard and cross-strap. White hits are used for branding on the tongue and toebox, while metallic silver accents the look on the midsole and trim throughout. Completing the look below is an orange translucent seven-stud TPU plate.
The Fierce III Mid and other Under Armour Football offerings are due to arrive at Eastbay in early May.
