Team USA continued their sizzling 2010 FIBA World Championship start as they blew by Slovenia for a 99-77 win on Sunday. Kevin Durant led the team with 22 points, while big man Kevin Love continued his impressive and efficient play with 10 points and 11 rebounds in just 13 minutes. Rudy Gay also had a hot hand, netting 16 points of his own, including three-of-six from downtown.
Leading the way for Slovenia was former NBA player Bostjan Nachbar, who scored 13 points and grabbed four rebounds. Next up for Team USA is Leandro Barbosa and the squad from Brazil. The game airs today at 2:30 p.m. EST.
Check out some footwear from yesterday’s contest between Team USA and Slovenia.

Another great game, and the USA colorways look great on all the sneakers.
adidas please release the adiZero Infiltrate Internationally? I want ‘em bad(if you can’t, maybe you can just send me a pair
)
Slovenia guys’ kicks are so random.
Some heat!!
I really have a hard time figuring out how Nike hasn’t provided matching shoes to all of their sponsored players and teams. Juan Carlos Navarro of Spain was wearing the ‘Miles Davis’ Kobe Vs, there’s tons of players on the China team in non-matching Kobe Vs and now Slovenia had at least four guys wearing the Draft Day Vs.
Maybe they hit the players off with team Hyperfuse and Hyperdunk 2010s, and everyone would just rather play in the Vs? In that case, they should’ve planned ahead and given everyone a Kobe V NIKE iD voucher so at least they don’t entirely clash with their team unis.
Nick: I will try to answer your questions, or at least in the case of Argentina, what I know.
Mosts of the players don’t have any contract with one or another brand, so they wear the sneakers they like or the ones provided by some advertisers. Maybe Delfino, Manu, Scola, Nocioni do have signature shoes, but the rest of they just ask or buy their owns. And not always they match. Even the socks are different in each player. This is what happens in a “undeveloped” country even when it’s the Nº 1 in FIBA world ranking.
I hope this was helpful to understand a little more how are this kind of things in this side of the world.
P.S.: Sorry for my English.
The USA colorway shoes look nice. Lets hope USA continues to play good basketball and doesnt fget too full of themselves for winning a few games.
The White/Black Hyperfuses on one of the Slovenia dudes may be the nicest Hyperfuse colorway out there… So clean and simple.
I love that colorway too. As soon as I saw them on SC, I fell in love with them. One of the few times I fall for a predominantly white shoe like that.
